Carlton InterContinental Cannes French Riviera

The Carlton Intercontinental Hotel takes centre stage on the famous Boulevard de la Croisette overlooking the beach. The hotel was built in 1911 and still to this day holds passers-by captive with its beauty and presence. It has of course seen more royalty and celebrities than you can shake a stick at and continues to entertain and impress the most lavish of guests.

There are 338 rooms in the hotel spread over 7 floors, including 36 suites, many of which are named after the stars that stayed there such as Sean Connery, Sophia Loren and Clint Eastwood. Rooms are classically designed with comfort and luxury in mind; some include a balcony with views over the Mediterranean. Mod-cons include satellite television, in room movies, sound system and high speed internet access. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for the disabled are available.

The Carlton Intercontinental Cannes hotel features 3 restaurants. The Brasserie Carlton headed by Chef Bunel mixes the traditions of a French Cafe with a gourmet restaurant using light, local ingredients. The restaurant is decorated in a colonial style and has a terrace where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Carlton Beach Restaurant is located on the sand directly in front of the hotel and serves a buffet or an a la carte lunch.

To quench your thirst there is the Bar des Célébrités & Terrasse Bar, located on the ground floor of the hotel where stars gather during festival time and sip on cocktails and the more low-key Petit Bar that has a more sophisticate drinks and cigar menu.

Facilities offered at the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel include a health and fitness centre located off-site, watersports run off the Carlton beach during the summer months and extensive business services including over 2000m² of meeting space and high-tech audiovisual equipment.
