Take your time sipping a pastis on the old port (vieux port) watching the huge super yachts come in and out of the tiny port. But don’t forget to wander around the picturesque town and enjoy the various arts and crafts available. Or why not pop into one of the many restaurants and sample some of the local Cotes de Provence wines and food highlights. Bouillabaisse, originally from Toulon is now a firm favorite in St Tropez, a Provencal fish stew with potatoes. If not for you then perhaps skip to dessert, a Tarte Tropezienne, a sponge cake sandwich filled with custard cream and topped with sugar and almonds !
If you have time maybe a boat trip around the Baie des Cannebiers, otherwise known as the bay of stars named after all the celebrity villas that jut out along the coast. A perfect way to spend an hour.
